Clémence Demesme, is a filmmaker, video artist and photographer based in Paris.

At 19, her video “Le cauchemar du poison rouge” was selected for VIDEOFORMES in Clermont-Ferrand, and subsequently won the Bronze Award at AVIFF Cannes. She has also presented video installation work at VIDEOFORMES, as well as premiering her videos “Crak” (in 2009), “Rose & Manu” (in 2013) and “Orgie Republicaine” (in 2015).

In 2015, Clémence served art director on the immersive theatre piece, "Tout Contre”, with performances in Paris and Avignon. She has directed music videos, including for the Hoosky (signed to Nowadays Records).

In 2014, she completed an artistic residency in Brioude, through DRAC Auvergne. During the residency, Clem wrote and directed her short film, “La chair et les volcans”, which is a finalist for Unifrance’s My French Film Festival 2017.

As a photographer, her main interest is portraiture. In addition, she has worked as a stills photographer for live music shows, the theatre and on major film shoots. While developing her first feature project, she continues to work for the well-known Parisienne photo studio, Studio Rouchon.
